The inspiration behind my recent collection is based on my interest in Peruvian culture.Peruvian textiles have an incredibly rich tradition, the intricate weaving and bold colors all incorporate in an exquisite picture. My main focus will be in the history behind peruvian textiles.I am really fascinated by peruvian textiles it something that is dear to me Iove bold colours and embroidery. I became very interested In the traditional baby wraps the women use called Lliclla is a Quechua word for a type of cape worn by Quechua women, also known as a Manta. A lliclla is a square woven cloth that covers the back and shoulders. It is secured at the front using a tupu (straight pin), a sturdy safety pin, or may be worn tied. When folded and pinned about the shoulders it acts as a small heavy shawl, which keeps the women warm in the chilly Andean air. I then experimented in draping the silhouettes of the wrap folded fabric movements on the body. I wanted to mix old Peruvian culture and modern together. I believe my brand is going to be a new look on Fashion that has never been seen before In the industry. I know I can change the industry and I will. I want to make garments that has never been done before by anyone .
